ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
Over the last four years serving as one of your Sweetwater County Commissioners, and more than 30 years in leadership roles on public boards, community organizations, and industry associations, I’ve worked to bring practical, conservative leadership to county government.
I believe government should live within its means, focus on its core responsibilities, and respect the rights and freedoms of the people it serves. My record reflects a commitment to fiscal responsibility, thoughtful decision-making, private property rights, and maintaining a pro-growth environment for Sweetwater County families, businesses, and communities.
As county revenues and valuations have declined in recent years, I’ve supported responsible budgeting and difficult but necessary decisions to protect essential county services and preserve long-term financial stability.
I also believe effective leadership requires listening to constituents, working collaboratively with others, and finding practical solutions to real-world challenges. Throughout my time in office, I’ve worked closely with fellow commissioners, county employees, industry leaders, community stakeholders, and partner agencies to move Sweetwater County forward responsibly.

Conservative
As your county commissioner, I’ve worked to make sure Sweetwater County lives within its means and spends taxpayer dollars responsibly. As county revenues declined over the last four years, I supported difficult but necessary budget decisions to protect core county services, maintain long-term financial stability, and keep government focused on its essential responsibilities.
Proven
I’ve spent the last four years serving as one of your county commissioners, and more than 30 years in leadership roles on public boards, community organizations, and industry associations. Over that time, I’ve learned how to build responsible budgets, work effectively with fellow board members, and make difficult decisions during both good times and challenging financial periods. My approach to leadership has always been practical, steady, and focused on serving the people of Sweetwater County responsibly.
Responsive
Making hard decisions is part of the job, but taking the time to listen to the people affected by those decisions is just as important. As one of your county commissioners, I’ve worked to hear directly from constituents, understand their concerns, and make thoughtful decisions that reflect the realities facing Sweetwater County families, businesses, and communities.
